Desert River

Desert River is a one-of-a-kind sculptural onyx stone bowl shaped as much by nature as by the artisan’s hand. Sweeping bands of cream, honey, muted green, rust and deep burgundy travel through the stone like layers of an ancient canyon, creating a remarkable natural composition that changes from every angle.
Its elongated form is framed by a dramatic, free-flowing scalloped edge, giving the piece an almost fluid appearance despite being carved from solid stone. Polished to a luminous finish, the surface reveals intricate mineral formations, delicate translucency and unexpected pockets of color throughout.
